More ancient history is represented by the Museum of the Society of Native Studies which preserves finds from pre-roman times onward, discovered in Gallarate or in the surrounding area, illustrating local culture and history. Paintings of the most famous Lombard painters from the XVII to the XIX century can be found in the rich art gallery in the Museum.
