Lake Maggiore

Lake Maggiore, also known under the name of Verbano, is the largest of the lakes bordering onto the province of Varese, and is the second largest lake in Italy after Lake Garda; divided between Lombardy, Piedmont and Switzerland, it is one of the most popular destinations for holidays by the lake.
