ACCOMMODATIONS AT: Castronno, Tradate, Venegono Superiore
Traditional Spring Flowers and Colours Party - Monastero di Torba, Gornate Olona, Sunday 20 April 2011 from 10.00am to 6.00pm
FAI, Fondo Ambiente Italiano, will organize a Spring Party, "Torba Flowers", on Sunday, 10 April 2011.
This will be a nice way to celebrate the Spring coming.
The event will take place in the Monastero of Torba, in Gornate Olona, a place surrounded by woods that offers the ideal scenery to host a spring party.
This historical market-exhibition will be an opportunity to join culture and spare time by visiting a place charaterized by history and art and by walking between the flowers and the market.
There will be aromatic plants, climbing shrubs and plants, mountain flowers and plants, fruit trees and many others types of plants and flowers.
It will be possible to buy dry flowers, earthenware creations, lavender products, honey, jam, buiscuits and furniture complements produced with natural yarns.
The "Tea Tradition" association will allow visitors to taste the "Spring Tea".
Children will have the opportunity to take part to a funny creative workshop, "The cheerful florist", and will create a very coloured bunch of flowers, guided by experienced animators.
The "Refettorio" restaurant, in the complex, will propose a special menù, with spring flavours.
