Linate and Malpensa airports are 30 and 25 km respectively from Saronno. Monza race track is a 30 minute drive. The Hotel started as a small inn with a restaurant, and was acquired by the Almerico family in 1970. It soon became well known for its quality and hospitality, features which still distinguish the style of the Principe.
